With Stackbit you can visually add, edit, reorder, and delete components such as as page sections, buttons, and much more.

Add a Component

  1. Click on Content in the top navigation bar.
  2. Hover over a Button and click + in the dropdown.
  3. Click Create Item in the pop up. A new button will show up on the page.

Edit a Component

  1. Hover over the new Button. Click More in the dropdown.
  2. Click Style in the pop up.
  3. Select the Style: Button. Watch the button's look and feel change.

As the developer, you can provide visual editors with as much flexibility to adapt components as you'd like.

Some examples are changing the right and left location of images and text, showing or hiding different elements, etc. The options you choose to provide are limitless!

Reorder a Component

  1. Hover over the new Button. Click More in the dropdown.
  2. Click Open in Sidebar in the pop up.
  3. In the sidebar, hover over the new button.
  4. Drag the Hamburger icon above the first button. Watch as the buttons order changes.

As the developer, you can enable visual editors to reorder any component you'd like — from buttons to page sections.

Delete a Component

  1. Hover over the new Button. Click Remove in the dropdown.
  2. Watch as the button is deleted.
